Meter Testing/Calibration

Technicians are stationed in strategic locations that allow effective dispatch to NY, PA, OH, TN, KY, VA and WV. Field service personnel are equipped to perform most field repairs on site without having to make a return visit. Using digital test instruments and self contained proving equipment, the technicians from GAS are competent in testing, calibrating and repairing orifice, rotary, turbine and diaphragm meters.  

EFM Setup

Electronic Flow Measurement requires skilled personnel to correctly setup, install and calibrate the instruments. Incorrect setup will cause erroneous results often difficult to locate and diagnose. GAS has setup/calibration software from many popular manufacturers of EFM, and have the appropriate skills to keep your EFM in proper working conditions.

Shop Repair

GAS offers shop repair services for customers who prefer to bring equipment to our facility rather than dispatching technicians to the field. Repair services are available for all types of meters and instrumentation.

Gas Quality Testing

The most reliable method for determining certain gas quality items is an on-site test. These items include water vapor and H2S determination. GAS technicians are trained to properly conduct length of stain test to quantify a vast array of compounds that could occur in a natural gas stream.

Domestic Meter Proving

GAS maintains a bell prover to test and prove domestic meters. In testing, adjusting and out testing are services available to utility companies, and producers that may have house fuel meters within their pipeline systems. GAS also works closely with associates capable of managing large volumes of domestic meters for proving and replacement programs.
